Not sure if I posted this already but what the hell.
This song just gives me feels.
I never liked Princess Diaries 2, and would honestly prefer the books to any of the movies, but I LOVE this scene. This is the first time Julie Andrews had sung in public/on screen since throat surgery in 1997 ruined her singing voice (for which she spent time in a psychiatric clinic to cope with its traumatic effect on her).
Gives me so much hope. I love you, Julie Andrews.
Not exactly Julie Andrews, however it relates to her somehow. This is Maggie Smith and Carol Burnett singing You’re So London.
If you all remember, Julie first sang this with Carol in Carnegie Hall.
I just thought this was cool. Also somehow felt like Carol was cheating on Julie.
